My 2003 Aviator has the light gray interior and my neat trick is I put the floor mats in my washing machine, add Tide, let them wash just as if they were old towels, put them out on the patio table in the sun to dry and they are absolutely like brand new again.
Lincoln Aviator Windows and Audio Problems. Driving down the road with my windows partially down in my 2004 Lincoln the audio goes off, as well as the screen - navigational system, and the controls for the windows stopped working (all 4). Thinking it was a fuse, we checked all we thought had to do with the problem, but nothing worked.
Well, after having my Aviator in the shop the entire week, it has been determined that the climate control problems are "normal" (per Lincoln Tech Line). Apparently, the system was engineered to blow ambient air on the side and front windows and to have the fan blow continuously so that the windows don't fog up.
I checked the fuel pressure today on my 2000 Navigator with the stall problem at 1/4 tank. Pressure specs. are 30-45 psi. Pressure tested at 38 with ignition on, and remains steady at 32 while idling. Pressure jumps up to 40 when fuel regulator vacuum is taken off and then goes back to 32 when attached. When it rains, my Navigator begins to have some strange electrical problems that last for anywhere from 2 to 7 days. The symptoms are as follows: 1. When I shut the engine off, the ignition doesn't seem to want to completely shut off. The engine will shut down, but the ignition appears to still have some power.
I own an 03 Aviator Ultimate that has this horrible smell from A/C vents. Has anybody else experienced this problem? It is really bad.
