By relative frequency, I am assuming that you mean the relative frequency of the occurance of something in a population. If this is not true, stop reading. Let's say you have items in cells A1 thru A100: dog cat bird dog cat bird dog dog dog cat cat cat dog We wish to know the relative frequency of dog, cat, bird in our sample In B1 thru B3 enter:
FREQUENCY compares the exact binary values (1.89 + 2.22E-16). Since 1.89 + 2.22E-16 is larger than 1.89 (I11), the FREQUENCY count for that bin is 2 less, and the FREQUENCY count for the next bin (up to 1.99) is 2 more. Apparently, the constants in B2 and B3 are the results of calculations that were copy-and-pasted-value into B2 and B3.
Grateful if anyone can any help with a formula to calculate the number of visits made by the various types of cards at each of the ATM over the period, with a breakdown of x1 , x2 , x3 , x4 , x5 , >5. Ideally I want to use a formula so that other colleagues could know how it was calculated. Please see the attached sample.
In attached spreadsheet Item C I would expect 0 frequency = 0 and >0 frequency = 12, item A I would expect 0 frequency = 1 and >0 frequency = 11 and B = 0 frequency = 2 and >0 frequency = 10. See attachment; H100 =TRANSPOSE (FREQUENCY (AH100:AS100,I$15:J$15)), this cell with the date below has a value of 1 in it. I15=0.
Hsat = (7000) (18.02/28.85) (0.3389)/ (14.696 - 0.3389) = 103.2 grains of water/lb of air Now if your relative humidity data point at 68 oF was say 60%, then: Habs = (103.2) (60/100) = 61.9 grains of water/lb of air It is quite easy to set up a spreadsheet to convert your relative humidity data as per the above example ... then all that would ...
alansidman, your formula showed 6 days ago as yesterday. I also don’t have a DateDif function (Excel Pro Plus 2013). bebo021999, your formula shows 2 days ago as last week. This did make me realize I need a more complex formula as I would need it to say ‘this week’ if it’s from Sunday this week onwards.
Re: Help with Transpose & Frequency Formula I am not sure how the employ name for the email is chosen, however if it is the first name, which would be in column G on the Cadence sheet then try the following modification of belinda200's second formula:
Re: Help with a formula for frequency "The number...that appears most frequently..." What happens if it's a draw within that the 3-digit PC under that heading, e.g. 309145 appears 5 times under A0A and 2000145 also appears 5 times.
Yes, a single-cell formula that would determine whether or not there is a duplicate, OR count the number of unique values. Given that there are 4 names that will be looked up, anything less than 4 unique values means there must be a duplicate. Whichever is easier!
I have this code which essentially takes the formula from B6 and copies it in the next empty row. Cell B6 contains the following formula : =AND(E6>=StartDate;E6<=EndDate) However, when i run my macro, it copies the same formula from cell B6 without regards to the destination cell, which is relative as entries are made.
