    Report abuse. It sounds like the powerpoint is outside of the screen, so you want to be able to move it back to your main screen. Fix: when the app is in windowed state (not maximized, not on the taskbar) [and when you can't view it because it is off the screen,] press Alt+Spacebar then M.     Restarting Powerpoint or the PC, or working with Powerpoint started in safe mode, does not help. I can only save that file if I undo enough many steps (and thus lose a lot of work). That 'critical' step in the undo list beyond which saving is possible is however nothing fancy, e.g. just inserting some text.
