Nepean Island (Norfuk: Nepeyan Ailen) is a small uninhabited island located about 800 metres (870 yards) south of Norfolk Island in the Southwest Pacific. The island is about 10 hectares (25 acres) in area. [1] Nepean Island is uninhabited due to its small size and tall cliffs flanking it, making landfall nearly impossible for small boats.
