The Victoria 18 is an American trailerable sailboat that was designed by Canadian G. William McVay. It was built in the United States 1977 to 1983. [1] [2] [3] Most boats built were sloop rigged, but a few were built as cutters with a bowsprit. A small number were built as the Victoria 17, with a shorter hull and an outboard rudder. [1]
A 2016 review in Blue Water Boats described the design, "If you can get over the lack of deck space and finding place to stow your tender, you’ll find a boat that’s essentially solid, seaworthy and with the interior space of a boat 6 feet longer. She’s large enough to live in, and being so small she’s incredibly easy to handle.

The Leigh 30 is an American sailboat that was designed by Chuck Paine as a cruiser and first built in 1979. [1] [2] [3] [4]The Leigh 30 design is also known as the Morris 30 and is similar to the Victoria 30, both Paine designs.
The design has sleeping accommodation for four people, with a double "V"-berth in the bow cabin and two straight settee berths in the main cabin. The galley is located on the starboard side just aft of the bow cabin and is equipped with a sink. The head is located just aft of the bow cabin on the port side. Cabin headroom is 36 in (91 cm).
The boat is supported by an active class club that organizes racing events, the South Coast Seacraft Owners' Association. [6] In a 2010 review Steve Henkel, who completed and sailed a kit South Coast 23 with his wife, wrote, "best features: Carl Alberg did a good job designing a graceful-looking hull with springy sheer and relatively low freeboard.
