OpenView is a free-to-view direct broadcast satellite television provider in South Africa which is run by Platco Digital (part of the eMedia Group which includes free-to-air channel e.tv). It launched on 15 October 2013.
eMovies is a 24-hour South African digital satellite television free-to-air movie channel created and owned by eMedia Investment's e.tv for the Openview platform. eMovies Extra is a sister companion channel.

eReality is a South African reality television channel created and owned by eMedia Investments's e.tv for OpenView. [1] The channel broadcasts 16 hours a day showcasing a mix of local and international nostalgic reality series and shows which never before appeared on e.tv. [2] eReality is currently the most popular reality channel in South Africa.
SABC SPORT is a South African free-to-air sports television channel owned by the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC). The channel was operating for a while on DTT before expanding on other platforms. After its expansion, the channel is now among the top 10 most watched channels on Openview pulling over 1.4. million viewers.
Different receivers are required for the two types. Some transmissions and channels are unencrypted and therefore free-to-air, while many other channels are transmitted with encryption. Free-to-view channels are encrypted but not charged-for, while pay television requires the viewer to subscribe and pay a monthly fee to receive the programming. [2]
