The Hainan eastern ring high-speed railway is a high-speed railway on Hainan Island. It is operated by China Railway Guangzhou Group.Opened in December 2010, the railway links the capital Haikou at the northern end of the province, and goes alongside the eastern coastline to reach the resort city of Sanya in the southernmost region of the island.
The Hainan western ring high-speed railway (Chinese: 海南西环高速铁路; pinyin: Hǎinán xī huán gāosù tiělù, often abbreviated [海南]西环高铁; [Hǎinán] Xī huán gāotiě [1]) is a high-speed railway operated by China Railway Guangzhou Group in Hainan Province. It started operation on 30 December 2015.
In the same year (2004), the Guangdong–Hainan Rail Ferry started operating, integrating the Hainan Western Ring Railway into China's national railway network. The ferry's Hainan terminal is adjacent to Haikou railway station (which is located quite a ways west of Haikou city proper). In 2006–2007, the railway was thoroughly upgraded.
Train cars carrying cargo also use this ferry service. These cars travel through the Haikou railway station, onto the Hainan western ring railway , to other locations in Hainan, such as Dongfang . Administratively, the station is within Changliu Town ( 长流镇 ), in Xiuying District of Haikou City.

Haikou East railway station is a railway station on the Hainan eastern ring high-speed railway located at the south end of Longqun Road in Haikou, Hainan, China.. In 2018, the Haikou Transportation Center, the main bus station, relocated and is now directly to the south east of Haikou East Railway Station.
