"Shikwa" (Urdu: شکوہ, "Complaint") and "Jawab-e-Shikwa" (Urdu: جواب شکوہ, "Response to the Complaint") are poems written by Muhammad Iqbal, in the Urdu language, which were later published in his book Bang e Dara The poems are often noted for their musicality, poetical beauty and depth of thought.

Muzaffar Warsi (23 December 1933 – 28 January 2011; Urdu: مظفر وارثی) was a Pakistani poet, essayist, lyricist, and a scholar of Urdu. He began writing more than five decades ago. He wrote a rich collection of na`ats, as well as several anthologies of ghazals and nazms, and his autobiography Gaye Dinon Ka Suraagh.

Mushtaq Ahmad Yusufi (Urdu: مُشتاق احمد يُوسُفی – Muštāq Ẹḥmad Yoūsufi, 4 September 1923 – 20 June 2018) [2] was a Pakistani Urdu satirist and humourist. [ 3 ] [ 4 ] Yousufi also served as the head of several national and international governmental and financial institutions. [ 4 ]
