Rocky Point State Park is a passive use state park on Narragansett Bay in Warwick, Rhode Island. The land has been a public attraction since the mid-1800s, most notably as Rocky Point Amusement Park. When the amusement park closed in 1995, it sat abandoned for years until the city and state purchased the land in stages between 2008 and 2013.
Rocky Point has a variety of amenities including an outdoor swimming pool, splash pad, skateboard park, boat launch, hiking and cycling trails, and wildlife viewing. Rocky Point is located at Exit 408 off of Interstate 40. It is situated along North Carolina Highway 210, North Carolina Highway 133, and U.S. Route 117. The community is located in southern Pender County, north of Castle Hayne. Rocky Point is situated 15–20 miles from the Atlantic Ocean, with Wrightsville Beach being the nearest public beach.
The start of summer in Rhode Island used to be marked by the rides powering up at Rocky Point Amusement Park. That ended when Rocky Point closed in 1995 after a 148-year run.

[1] It is on Pelican Bay on the west shore of Upper Klamath Lake, about 29 miles (47 km) northwest of Klamath Falls and about 3 miles (5 km) north of Oregon Route 140 on Forest Highway 34 (Westside Road or Klamath County Highway 531).
