A curve connecting the tangency points is called the expansion path because it shows how the input usages expand as the chosen level of output expands. In economics , an expansion path (also called a scale line [ 1 ] ) is a path connecting optimal input combinations as the scale of production expands. [ 2 ]
Is the object code generated directly traceable to source code statements? Certain certifications, (i.e. DO-178B Level A) require coverage at the assembly level if this is not the case: "Then, additional verification should be performed on the object code to establish the correctness of such generated code sequences" para-6.4.4.2. The popularity of the Java programming language has made escape analysis a target of interest. Java's combination of heap-only object allocation, built-in threading, the Sun HotSpot dynamic compiler, and OpenJ9 's just-in-time compiler (JIT) creates a candidate platform for escape analysis related optimizations (see Escape analysis in Java ).
In computing, inline expansion, or inlining, is a manual or compiler optimization that replaces a function call site with the body of the called function. Inline expansion is similar to macro expansion, but occurs during compilation, without changing the source code (the text), while macro expansion occurs prior to compilation, and results in different text that is then processed by the compiler.
Java code coverage tools are of two types: first, tools that add statements to the Java source code and require its recompilation. Second, tools that instrument the bytecode, either before or during execution. The goal is to find out which parts of the code are tested by registering the lines of code executed when running a test.
A sampling-based planner works by searching the graph. In the case of path planning, the graph contains the spatial nodes which can be observed by the robot. The wavefront expansion increases the performance of the search by analyzing only nodes near the robot. The decision is made on a geometrical level which is equal to breadth-first search. [5]
java.nio (NIO stands for New Input/Output [1] [2]) is a collection of Java programming language APIs that offer features for intensive I/O operations. It was introduced with the J2SE 1.4 release of Java by Sun Microsystems to complement an existing standard I/O. NIO was developed under the Java Community Process as JSR 51. [ 3 ]
However, the compiler automatically transforms the code so that the list will "silently" receive objects, while the source code only mentions primitive values. For example, the programmer can now write list . add ( 3 ) and think as if the int 3 were added to the list; but, the compiler will have actually transformed the line into list . add ...
