Aromas (Spanish for "Scents") is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Monterey County and San Benito County, California, United States. The population was 2,708 at the 2020 census. [4] The CDP straddles the border of the two counties, with Monterey County to the west and San Benito County to the east.
