Eljer Diplomat Toilet Reveiw & Praise I registered with this site just so there is a place for me to voice my enthusiasm for this toilet. I had installed a super-cheap ***** toilet about 5 years ago. Since then, my wife has managed to clog it at least once a week. Recently, I had been browsing for a new toilet with a "10" rating.
Jan 4, 2021. #4. That is an Eljer Duplex toilet - very popular in 40's and 50's. You can buy a tank ball at any hardware store. However, keep the guide wires that are with the tank ball that you have right now as the Eljer tanks tend to be taller and need longer replacement wires, and the wire is already bent to fit your handle.

Eljer Sylenta It's great to see one of my videos on this forum. They have a pretty mint green 1950's Eljer reverse trap toilet. There is no flush valve in the tank as the toilet's tank has a built in overflow tube molded into the back of the tank. On the inside front of the tank is a porcelain bump-out that has a small hole through it that for a brass lift wire guide to screw into.
California. Dec 7, 2014. #1. I bought an Eljer toilet at a recycle place but when I got it home I noticed it has no siphon jet. The toilet works, at least so far, but I think not as intended. It has three major holes under the front of the rim and a number of minor holes along the sides. In use, the water crashes straight down from the major ...
When I call Eljer customer service, I get American Standard. Customer service twice told me they were identical toilets, yet I get the distinct impression they really don't know. I haven't been able to locate spec sheets for the Eljer Titan that show the measurements and diminsions for comparison. I have the specs for Am-Std.
Website. terrylove.com. Aug 14, 2016. #8. The fill valve installation looks good. Next you need to determine where the leak is. To find that, turn off the water to the tank, let it sit and locate the water level when it stops losing water. It could be a cracked overflow, bad flapper, or bad seal under the flush valve.
