Dormammu (voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch and an unidentified British actor) is a primordial inter-dimensional entity and ruler of the Dark Dimension. He wields apocalyptic levels of supernatural power. Dormammu seeks to absorb all other universes into his Dark Dimension and turn the victims into Mindless Ones.

Stephen Strange visits it to bargain with Dormammu after Kaecilius contacts it to absorb the Earth.
The entity's power is stolen by Dormammu and his sister Umar to remake the universe in their image. The pair are opposed by a reuniting of three of the original Defenders (Strange; the Hulk and Namor), with Umar betraying Dormammu and then being defeated in turn. Eternity's power returns to him and reality is restored.

Arishem at the end of the film, takes Sersi and two more Eternals away with him for judgment, to see if Tiamut's sacrifice was worth it for the people of Earth.
