War and Peace (French: Guerre et Paix, Italian: Guerra e pace) is a 2007 French-Italian drama miniseries directed by Robert Dornhelm.It was broadcast in Italy (), Belgium (), in France and in Russia (Telekanal Rossiya) in four parts during October and November 2007.
He never mentions using 35 mm negative film during the production of War and Peace. In fact he talks about using 70 mm Soviet negative film throughout the production. When MOSFILM decided to restore the film, the assessment of all original film elements was made, and the original negative was unavailable at that time as it wasn't even in Moscow.
