Midsomer Murders Barry Jackson (29 March 1938 – 5 December 2013) was an English stage, film and television actor. [ 1 ] He appeared in the first fourteen series of Midsomer Murders as George Bullard, the pathologist.

Midsomer Murders is a detective drama [1] set in modern-day England. The stories revolve around the efforts of Detective Chief Inspector Tom Barnaby, and later his successor, cousin John Barnaby, to solve numerous murders that take place in the picturesque but deadly villages of the fictional county of Midsomer.
John Vivian Drummond Nettles, [2] (born 11 October 1943) [3] is an English actor and author. He is best known for his starring roles as detectives in the crime drama television series Bergerac (1981–1991) in the title role, and Midsomer Murders (1997–2011) as Detective Chief Inspector Tom Barnaby.
