Park 'N Fly was an off-airport parking operator based in the United States, established in 1967 in St. Louis, Missouri by Theodore P (Ted) Desloge, a prominent member of the magnate family. This Atlanta, Georgia -headquartered company was acquired in 1988 by the Dutch firm BCD Group .
An airport was built there by one of the first flying clubs in Southern California, the Friends of Ontario Airport. In 1929, the city of Ontario purchased 30 acres (12 ha), now in the southwest corner of the airport, for $12,000 (equivalent to $213,000 in 2023), [8] and established the Ontario Municipal Airport.
The OIAA was created in August 2012 under a joint-powers agreement between the City of Ontario, California, and San Bernardino County.
