I have been searching this site for over an hour and the internet in regards to engineering tolerances and the difference between the OEM Glock and the Polymer 80. I am entertaining building one of these, but think I will wait until Polymer 80 releases their " complete frame " as opposed to the 80% frame.

Shot a Steel Match this weekend and alternated between my after marked Glock 19 upper & the Advantage Arms .22lr Kit. Used Federal’s 788BF and not a single issue! This is a winner for me! As an FYI, shot another Steel match today with the Advantage Arms.22lr Conversion Kit upper and my Polymer 80 lower. Put another 133 rnds of Federal’s ...

  5. Polymer 80 Vs. Glock 19 & Glock 17 - Glock Talk

Polymer 80 pistols can be built to function smoothly and reliably. I have never had an issue installing factory Glock parts. Some like the grip form better. Their locking block/front rail combo has a lot more metal in the rails, but I don't know that this is an improvement or advantage, as Glock pistols seem to have no problems in this area.

But as things stand legally... you cannot buy an 80% frame. For now. It's been a legal ping-pong ball in the courts.

Benjamin Franklin. Theres nothing wrong with a Glock that a Polymer 80 frame won't fix. Welcome,at about that position I would look at the Firing pin safety plunger and conversely the trigger bar safety extension as a possible area of trouble and see what Olga 17 uncovers as I don't have a P 80 G 26 to examine.

  8. New Polymer 80 build Failure To Eject - Glock Talk

The Polymer 80's RRM sandwiches the Glock TMH as you know and that may be moving your ejector out of position. After you guess on the jelly bean question, try the new #47201 ejector. To get the new #47201 ejector, you order trigger mechanism housing #47208. Then pull the ejector out of the new TMH and insert it into your TMH.

Ordered the frame and also ordered all oem everything, from frame to internals. It ended up being a nightmare! It is nothing like the other builds from p80. Virtually all of the other models are easy to build and you don't run into too many issues. The new PFSS9- glock 43 frame is just riddled with problems.

On my first build I used Polymer 80 trigger parts and encountered tolerance stacking issues took the needed parts from a Glock 17 put them in the P 80 and every thing functioned as it should. Right there was sown the seed for all Glock OEM trigger parts going in my future builds, other than firing pin plunger drag and the polishing needs to ...
