Two Gaits Farm is the name of a Standardbred (harness racing) horse farm that functioned from 1934-1973. It belonged to Leo C. McNamara, Sr. and at one time was internationally known as the largest standardbred pacer breeding farm in the country. [1] The farm was the birthplace of numerous famous horses over the years.

It did not hurt that many horses, like Funny Cide and Smarty Jones, were making Triple Crown runs during those years (although all of them failed). From 2002 to 2004, the Belmont had the highest ratings of any horse race on television.

The Indiana Derby is a Grade III American Thoroughbred horse race for three-year-olds run over a distance of 1 + 1 ⁄ 16 miles on the dirt held annually in July at Horseshoe Indianapolis in Shelbyville, Indiana. It is the racetrack's signature event offering its current highest purse at $300,000.
Indiana was a bay horse who stood 15.3 hands high [1] bred in Ireland by F. F. Tuthill. He was sired by the St Leger winner Sayajirao out of the mare Willow Ann. Willow Ann never raced but was a success as a broodmare: in addition to Indiana, she also produced the Belmont Stakes winner Cavan.
