An Adams Township family is trying to move forward after part of their home on Pearce Road was consumed by fire on Wednesday, Oct. 23. “We were already struggling, so this kind of added to our already difficult financial situation,” said Heather King, who is raising four children in the home.
Cranberry Township supervisors are working through plans to upgrade the fuel island near the township’s public maintenance center. The capital project would include various maintenance improvements to the fuel dispensers, terminals and main canopy.
Republican state Sen. Elder Vogel won an overwhelming victory for his fifth term over Democratic challenger Kate Lennen to represent the 47th District. Vogel’s 96,263 votes nearly doubled the 54,398 votes that Lennen received, according to unofficial results in Butler, Beaver and Lawrence counties early Wednesday morning, Nov. 6.
