FOOD. The best option, of course. Avocados, dark chocolate, legumes, nuts, beans and seeds are all great sources of magnesium. Getting your vitamins from whole foods is always the best idea, but with such a large proportion of the population deficient in magnesium, its clear that supplements are needed in many cases.

I've used both and switched to Taurate regularly. Nothing noticably different between the two but can say Taurate does its job well as far as physical anxiety symptoms, and it's also known to be easier on the stomach. Reply. angie9942. •.

All magnesium forms essentially have the same effect, but vary in their bioavailability. That doesn't mean you'll notice any significant difference by taking a different type of magnesium supplement. I prefer to stick with more common forms like glycinate and citrate. They have relatively high bioavailability, they are proven safe, and they are ...

Taurate is tolerable, and threonate is amazing it's just pricey and more of a mind relaxer. Taurine is amazing as is, so taking Magtein and Magnesium + Taurine (Mag Taurate) is really great. Glycinate at 8 pm for sleep, 200mg. threonate for daily life, just 50 mg in morning and then again after lunch afternoon.

I started with magnesium glycine because most people here have suggest. But it doesn't have the desired effect on me, I can't stand it at all. When I take it before going to sleep I always feel limp and depressed the next day. I also take magnesium taurate and find that it is the best magnesium you can take. 3.

So I’ve tried magneisum citrate - made me feel depressed as shit. Tried glycinate which gave me headaches/brain fog when taken in day or insomnia when taken at night. I’m wondering a) has anyone experienced the same from citrate/glycinate but positive effects from taurate b) does anyone experience positive effects from taurate?

I believe the "Calm" supplement is partly glycinate, so that's chelated. Reply. brent_starburst. •. Mag Glycinate Vs Bisglycinate is no different. They do the same thing. Glycine helps you sleep and relaxes you. Mag taurinate, look up the benefits of taurine. Personally, I take magnesium Glycinate and taurine to get all the benefits.
