The West Virginia State Bar is an agency of the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia. The West Virginia State Bar serves approximately 9,000 active and inactive, in-state and out-of-state West Virginia licensed attorney. The mandatory Bar was formed in 1947.

State Bar courses are planned and presented for the purpose of providing CLE credit in WV for WV barred attorneys. If attorneys want credit for our seminars in other states in which they are barred, they should self-report the credits in accordance with the CLE rules of those states.
Voting is limited to bar members only, and a valid Bar ID must be entered to cast your vote. Participants that attempt to vote multiple times per day will be disqualified. Voting will conclude at 12:00pm on September 30th. The winner(s) will be contacted on October 1st.
