The Granville Gee Bee Model Z was an American racing aircraft that was built, successfully raced to victory, then destroyed in a deadly crash – all in 1931. It was the first of the Super Sportster aircraft built by Granville Brothers Aircraft of Springfield, Massachusetts, with the sole intent of winning the Thompson Trophy, which it did in September 1931.

During the 70s a couple of Cox engineers were playing around with different colored Babe Bee and Golden Bee parts and came up with an all-black engine with a red spinner. They hopped it up a bit with a dual bypass cylinder from a Super Bee (#1), a black Golden Bee tank and a slightly larger (0.082") venturi intake. The Black Widow was born.

A honey super is a part of a commercial or other human-managed beehive that is used to collect honey. The most common variety is the "Illinois" or "medium" super with a depth of 6 5 ⁄ 8 inches, in the length and width dimensions of a Langstroth hive. A honey super consists of a box in which 8–10 frames are hung.
Either type may have a small possibly tapered hole which is intended for removing small nails like a claw hammer. The other job of the hive tool is to lift frames when the hive is propolized. A J-type tool should be used in a specific way – the J goes into the bee space and the notch rests on the hive wall or the frame behind to provide lift.
