UWSP-Wausau is the site of the Wisconsin Public Radio Wausau Regional Studio. The campus executive is Ozalle Toms. In 2018, the college became a satellite campus of the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point [2] and changed its name to the current one due to the dissolution of the University of Wisconsin Colleges.
