Winant was buried at Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord; his wish to be buried in St. Paul's School's consecrated cemetery was refused by the Episcopalian rector on the grounds that suicide was a sin. She married Rev. James Henry Eames, an Episcopal clergyman who served as rector of St. Stephen's Church in Providence and St. Paul's Church in Concord, New Hampshire. He was also responsible for establishing Episcopal mission churches in New Hampshire's White Mountains region, such as at Littleton and Lancaster. [1]
