"Vamos a la playa" is a song by the Italian Italo disco duo Righeira, released in 1983 as the second single from their debut studio album, Righeira (1983). It was written by Johnson Righeira , the duo's lead vocalist, and producer Carmelo La Bionda . [ 2 ]

In 1968, when Righi was 8, his family moved to the Barriera di Milano district. [4] Righi attended Albert Einstein Scientific High School in Turin. He was influenced by Italian folk music, and Gipo Farassino was one of his schoolboy idols; "Vamos a la playa" and "L'estate sta finendo" were written with inspiration from Farassino. [5]
