Eero Aarnio (born 21 July 1932) is a Finnish designer, noted for his innovative furniture designs in the 1960s, such as his plastic and fibreglass chairs. [1] He was born in Helsinki. Puppy toy by Eero Aarnio at the Googleplex, 2008. Aarnio studied architecture at the Institute of Industrial Arts in Helsinki and graduated in 1960.
Golla was established in the small rural town of Kolla, Finland in 1994, where it began producing design items such as CD stands and racks. One of these early models was sold in the gift shop of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Golla later designed protective cases for mobile phones.
