I didn't know downloads were capped, even for premium users; I pay for a subscription to avoid having to sit for hours downloading 1300 mods by hand. It seems a bit self-defeating to have such large modlists if there's a cap on downloads; people are always going to have hardware or connection issues, and it's usually easier to start again.
Hi I have a problem with vortex, while some of my mods are working, other mods like live another life are not. Vortex seems incapable of deploying mods and when I try to press the deploy mod button nothing happens. It also seems to be surrounded by a red box of some kind. I have done some researc...
On Vortex, I hit "purge mods" figuring it would disable all enabled mods. After running the purge command, I noticed no change in the mod window. I went ahead and uninstalled skyrim then reinstalled skyrim. I run Vortex and it still shows all the mods I downloaded as "enabled." So did the purge command work properly?

Vortex and steam (oblivion) are installed on the same drive. The actual mods are installed in a separate folder than the steam folder, and the vortex folder as instructed.
There is a setting in Vortex, which auto deploys mods, when e.g. a rule is (re)created or some mod is disabled, however manually deploying is especially needed when you have changed some files outside Vortex and want to force the dialogue to either merge the changes into the mod or the opposite - redeploy original version.
Close Vortex and reopen and see if it appear back. restarting vortex did remove a few from the list but the notification reappears after an any action such as enabling a mod or disabling a mod. Maybe its just a bug since no mod that conflicts is even active.
I just installed Fallout 3 again and want to mod it. Problem: When I try to manually direct Vortex to the folder where my Fallout.exe is located it does not find it. My path is: G:Games/Bethesda/Fallout3 When I direct Vortex to my Fallout 3 folder it only shows the Data Folder, but no other files...
