Long Draw Reservoir is a reservoir located in the Rocky Mountains of northern Colorado in the United States. [1] The reservoir is located in Larimer County in the Roosevelt National Forest at 3,081 m (10,108 ft) and drains into La Poudre Pass Creek. The Long Draw Campground is located just north of the reservoir. [2]

The gulch is now named the Aroya Gulch. [7] Aroya originated in 1870 three miles west of the present site as a camp for Kansas-Pacific Railroad track-layers, but was moved to the present site because there was a better supply of water. The Aroya, Colorado, post office operated from September 17, 1889, until March 26, 1965. [8]
