For Tier 1, the top 16 men's and top 16 women's teams from the World Curling Federation's world rankings based on the final standings of the 2023–24 curling season will be invited to participate. In the event that a team declines their invitation, the next-ranked team on the world team ranking is invited until the field is complete.
