The second series, Inuyasha: The Final Act, is a direct sequel that adapts the remainder of the manga. It ran for 26 episodes from October 2009 to March 2010. Four feature films and an original video animation (OVA) have also been released. Other merchandise includes video games and a light novel.
From 2000 to 2004, Inuyasha ran for 167 episodes and spawned four major films. The first anime ended before the manga did, thus wrapping up inconclusively. A second Inuyasha series in 2009, Inuyasha the Final Act, ran until March 2010 in order to officially conclude the story.
Inuyasha collects ingredients from the dwellings of many demons. Kagome studies for the high school entrance exams, minding the fact that she is still sick. Inuyasha concocts a very odd medicinal cure (one that his mother made when he was a child) using the ingredients, which relieves her common cold, so Kagome can continue the exams.
The chapters of the Inuyasha manga series were written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi. The manga was serialized in Shogakukan's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Sunday from 1996 to 2008. The 558 chapters were collected in 56 tankōbon volumes, released from April 18, 1997, [1] to February 18, 2009. [2]
Inuyasha slices Muso to pieces using the Wind Scar, unknowing that Muso can slowly reconstitutes himself. While Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango and Shippo encounter Kagura, Kagome and Kaede investigate the cave, where it is found out that Muso is headed that way as well. Muso's memory has been restored, recalling the birth of Naraku.
