Anne Carolyn Klein (Lama Rigzin Drolma) is an American Tibetologist who is a professor of Religious Studies at Rice University in Houston, Texas and co-founding director and resident teacher at Dawn Mountain, a Tibetan temple, community center and research institute.

Anne Klein (2 March 1950 – 23 April 2011) was a German lawyer and, at the time of German reunification, a Berlin Senator. Her politics were green. Her focus as a senator was on women's rights. She was also the first Berlin senator to "go public" about being a lesbian. [1] [2] [3]
The Anne Klein Women's Prize is given by the Heinrich Böll Foundation to women from anywhere in the world who are committed to gender democracy. The award was named after Anne Klein the German lawyer and State Senator. The prize includes €10,000 and is decided on by a five-member jury.
