La Paz is a municipality in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur. Its area of 20,275 km 2 (7,828 sq mi) makes it the municipality in Mexico with the fourth-largest area. [ 1 ] It had a population of 290,286 inhabitants in the 2015 census. [ 2 ]

El Centenario is a small seaside town located in La Paz Municipality, Baja California Sur, Mexico, approximately 15 km west of La Paz, the capital city. El Centenario had a 2020 census population of 6,221 persons. [1] Since its establishment, El Centenario has grown as a suburb of La Paz.
