The Tamil Nadu cricket team is a domestic cricket team run by Tamil Nadu Cricket Association representing the state of Tamil Nadu, India.It has been one of the most dominant teams in white-ball domestic cricket in India.

The Tamil Nadu women's cricket team is an Indian domestic cricket team representing the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. [1] The team has represented the state in Women's Senior One Day Trophy and Senior women's T20 league since the 2006–07 and 2008–09 seasons, respectively, but has never reached the final of either trophy.
The stadium was established in 1916 and it is the oldest continuously used cricket stadium in the country. It is named after M A Chidambaram, former President of BCCI, the stadium was formerly known as Madras Cricket Club Ground. [3] [4] It is the home ground of the Tamil Nadu cricket team and the Indian Premier League team Chennai Super Kings.
