Benton County, Washington. Benton County is a county in the south-central portion of the U.S. state of Washington. As of the 2020 census, its population was 206,873. [1] The county seat is Prosser, [2] and its most populous city is Kennewick. The Columbia River demarcates the county's north, south, and east boundaries.

State Route 224 (SR 224) is a 10.15-mile (16.33 km) long state highway located entirely in Benton County, Washington, United States.The highway serves to connect SR 225 to Interstate 82 (I-82) and U.S. Route 12 (US 12), and to link Benton City to West Richland and Richland.
Red Mountain is located in the southeast corner of Washington state near the Tri-Cities between Rattlesnake Mountain and Candy Mountain. This region is situated among the Columbia, Snake and Yakima Rivers. The mountain covers an area of approximately 4,040 acres (6.31 sq mi).
