Garrett Klahn Texas Is the Reason was an American post-hardcore band, founded by former Shelter guitarist Norman Brannon and 108 drummer Chris Daly in 1994. They disbanded in 1997, and held brief reunions in 2006 and 2012–2013.
Bassist Garrett Klahn was kicked out of Copper in January 1995, while Brannon had formed a new band the following month. [2] [3] Winegard was drafted into Brannon's act; Klahn visited them during practice that same month, before joining them when he switched to vocals and guitar in March 1995.
In late 2014, Paley collected a set of songs from his home recording sessions and released an EP Songs for Dorian Gray on Flix Records/Cargo [10] and toured in Europe with Garrett Klahn of Texas Is the Reason, Karl Larsson of Last Days of April, and Northcote. [11]
