Provincial Trunk Highway 2 (PTH 2) is a 315-kilometre (196-mile) highway in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It runs from Highway 13 at the Manitoba-Saskatchewan border to Winnipeg's Perimeter Highway near Oak Bluff. [1] PTH 2 is the Manitoba portion of the Red Coat Trail. [2] [3]

The current PR 344 was originally a small connector spur of what was a much longer north–south provincial road. In the early 1990s, the Manitoba government decommissioned a number of provincial secondary roads and returned the maintenance of these roads back to the rural municipalities.
