Fox McCloud [a] is a fictional character and the chief protagonist of Nintendo's Star Fox series. He is an anthropomorphic fox created and designed by Shigeru Miyamoto and Takaya Imamura . He was introduced as the sole playable character in the original 1993 video game Star Fox .
McCloud is initially assigned crowd control duty on the shoot but things gets serious when someone is found murdered at one of the shooting locations. To make matters worse, the film's male lead ( Larry Hagman ) interferes with the investigation, trying to emulate the skills of the detective character he plays on TV to try to solve the case.
