The Michelin Rubber Plantation was a rubber plantation in Vietnam.It was located near Dầu Tiếng District in Bình Dương Province, 72 km northwest of Saigon.The plantation was established by the Michelin company in 1925 [1] and at 12,400 hectares (31,000 acres) it was the largest rubber plantation in Vietnam.

Operation Atlas Wedge was a joint U.S. Army and Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) military operation from 17 to 24 March 1969 during the Vietnam War designed to engage People's Army of Vietnam (PAVN) units in the Michelin Rubber Plantation, Bình Dương Province.
The base was established in October 1966. The camp was located in the Dầu Tiếng District, 60 km northwest of Tan Son Nhut Air Base and 24 km east of Tây Ninh between the Saigon River and the Michelin Rubber Plantation. The woods were used by the Viet Cong (VC) as a base area during the Vietnam War. During Operation Circle Pines from 29 March to 5 April 1966, the 1st Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment attacked the woods and discovered that the VC had built extensive bunker and tunnels systems with some of the tunnels three or four levels deep.
