The Kingsway Regional School District is a regional public school district serving students from five communities in Gloucester County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The district serves students in seventh through twelfth grades from East Greenwich Township , South Harrison Township , Swedesboro and Woolwich Township . [ 3 ]
Previously a community school administered by Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council, Wallasey School converted to academy status in February 2015. However the school had already been renamed The Kingsway Academy in September 2014. On 3 July 2017 it was confirmed by the school that it would close down in August 2018. [3]
The school had been ranked 210th in the state of 328 schools in 2012, after being ranked 216th in 2010 out of 322 schools listed. [14] The magazine ranked the school 218th in 2008 out of 316 schools. [15] The school was ranked 202nd in the magazine's September 2006 issue, which surveyed 316 schools across the state. [16]
In 2014, the school celebrated the 75th anniversary of Broadway Campus and the 50th anniversary of the Foxland Campus. [1] Previously a community school administered by Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council, in February 2016 The Kingsway School converted to academy status. The school is now sponsored by the Education Learning Trust.

The school closed after Kingsway Regional High School opened in September 1963. Designed to accommodate an enrollment of 1,000 and constructed at a cost of $1.75 million, the school opened in for students in grades 7-12, including students in grades 9-12 who had previously attended Swedesboro High School.
