Beach volleyball was introduced as an official Olympic sport in 1996. A total of 24 teams take part in each beach volleyball Olympic tournament.

Tania Moreno Matveeva [a] (born 29 January 2002) [1] is a Spanish beach volleyball player. She played with Daniela Álvarez Mendoza at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. She currently attends Texas Christian University where she is part of the TCU beach volleyball team.
