Silverlake is a planned community in unincorporated Brazoria County, Texas, United States, near Pearland and in Greater Houston. [1] The 1,000-acre (400 ha) community has 2,500 single-family houses and 230-acre (93 ha) of supporting commercial usage. [2]
In 2003 the name was changed to Pearland Regional Airport. [4] The land with the airport, "Area L", is an unincorporated area; [5] it was annexed by the City of Pearland on November 27, 2017. [6] However, in March 2018 the Pearland city council voted to deannex the territory. [7] It was de-annexed effective March 26, 2018. [6]
