Clifton Place is an historic plantation mansion located southwest of the city of Columbia, Maury County, Tennessee on the Mt. Pleasant Pike (Columbia highway). [2] Master builder Nathan Vaught started construction in 1838, and the mansion and other buildings were completed in 1839, for Gideon Johnson Pillow (1806-1877) on land inherited from Gideon Pillow.
A detached kitchen still exists on the property, built prior to 1826 and surviving the 1857 fire; according to local lore it is the oldest brick building in the Mount Pleasant area. [2] The house and property was bought by private owners in 2018.

Gatti was already running the À la Carte restaurant on the RMS Olympic, and because of its success, Titanic ' s À la Carte was even larger, able to seat over 150, with over 60 staff, mostly Italian and French, all employed directly by Gatti, who ran these restaurants as concessions.
In 2003, the Loveless Cafe was sold to a few committed Nashville natives. They closed the cafe in February 2004 for restorations. [4] The five-month project included a new kitchen, new restrooms and additional seating. [4] The two buildings containing the old motel rooms were converted to Hams & Jams Country Market and the Loveless Motel Shops. [4]
