Banque de Luxembourg (French pronunciation: [bɑ̃k də lyksɑ̃buʁ], lit. ' Bank of Luxembourg ') is a financial institution in Luxembourg, which primarily focuses on wealth management and high-net-worth individuals. It is owned by the French banking group Crédit Mutuel, through the group's subsidiary Crédit Industriel et Commercial.
In terms of total assets Spuerkeess is the third-largest bank in Luxembourg and the largest bank with domestic capital. [2] BCEE has been designated as a Significant Institution since the entry into force of European Banking Supervision in late 2014, and as a consequence is directly supervised by the European Central Bank. The Central Bank of Luxembourg (French: Banque centrale du Luxembourg [bɑ̃k sɑ̃tʁal dy lyksɑ̃buʁ], BCL; German: Luxemburger Zentralbank [ˈlʊksm̩ˌbʊʁɡɐ tsɛnˈtʁaːlbaŋk]; Luxembourgish: Zentralbank vu Lëtzebuerg) is the member of the Eurosystem for Luxembourg and was founded for that purpose in 1998, succeeding the Institut Monétaire Luxembourgeois.
