This waterfall is the highest waterfall in Telangana State. Pochera Falls: Adilabad: 20 m (66 ft) Situated about 35 km (22 mi) from Nirmal, on National Highway no.7, and is on the way to Adilabad. The Pochera Waterfalls are classified as multi-step and over a series of steps descend 20 meters. The last two steps are the largest with the largest of the two dropping 12 meters. The small streams of River Godavari are the source of this waterfall, and these streams gradually breaks away as they flow over the Sahyadri Mountain Range. [1]
Mallela Theertham is in the middle of the dense forest. A walk down 350 steps is required to access the waterfall. The best flows are from the months of October to February.March to June is the dry season. The remaining months are rainy months, and it is very difficult to drive on the muddy road.
