Matheus Santos Carneiro da Cunha (born 27 May 1999) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers and the Brazil national team. He has also been used as a second striker or winger .
Cunha made his debut for Mogi Mirim against Botafogo (São Paulo) in the 2017 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C. He played one more match in the Série C before leaving the club. [1] [4] In late 2018, Cunha joined Primavera for the 2019 Campeonato Paulista Série A3 season, where he played eight matches. [1] [5]
Cunha made his debut on the 26 January 2022, starting for Flamengo in the Campeonato Carioca 2–1 home win against Portuguesa (RJ). [ 1 ] On 6 June 2023, Cunha extended his contract with Flamengo until 31 December 2025.
