Lincoln Village is a neighborhood located on the West Side of Columbus, Ohio and is known for its long history and historical impacts it has had on the surrounding communities. Old Oaks is a small neighborhood approximately one mile east of, and just south of downtown. The community is bounded by Mooberry Street to the north, East Livingston Avenue to the south, South Ohio Avenue to the west, and Kimball Place to the east.
In 1905, after the end of the Civil War and subsequent purchase of the Camp Chase property by Quaker settlers, the land was sold to a real estate agency and subdivided for housing.
