Zhang Zhijie (simplified Chinese: 张志杰; traditional Chinese: 張志傑; pinyin: Zhāng Zhìjié; 30 January 2007 – 30 June 2024) was a Chinese badminton player. [3] He played for China in the 2024 Badminton Asia Junior Championships before his death.

The tournament was marred with the death of Chinese athlete Zhang Zhijie on 30 June, the third day of the tournament. Zhang was declared dead on 23:20 local time at Hardjolukito Air Force Central Hospital [2] after he collapsed in the middle of the match against Kazuma Kawano, which was part of team event tie between China and Japan.
