The 2024 Basketball Champions League Asia was the first edition of the Basketball Champions League Asia, and the 29th season of the continent's top club competition. The tournament was previously known as the FIBA Asia Champions Cup , and was last held in 2019 . [ 1 ]
In 2024, it was announced that the tournament will be renamed as the Basketball Champions League Asia, a name in line with other continental competitions in the Americas and Europe. [ 2 ] Al Riyadi Club Beirut and Sagesse from Lebanon are the most successful clubs in the history of the competition, having won three titles each.
The 2025 Basketball Champions League Asia-East is the first edition of the Basketball Champions League Asia-East (BCL Asia-East), with the BCL Asia qualifying rounds renamed as BCL Asia-East. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ] The games are scheduled to hold on March 24 to June 1, 2025.
Number of participating clubs in the BCL Asia [ edit ] Since the inaugural edition a total of 118 teams from 29 FIBA member nations have participated in the tournament, excluding teams that were on the initial team list but were disqualified or withdrew before the season.

The Play-ins took place from 2 to 17 January 2024. The teams classified in second and third place in their respective groups of Basketball Champions League, went to the Play-ins. Winners advanced to the round of 16. The first legs were played on 2–3 January, the second legs on 9–10 January. Eventual third legs were played on 16–17 January.
