Hoffman Lake is bordered to the southeast, across US 30, by the unincorporated community of Atwood. Kosciusko County (/ ˌ k ɒ s k i ˈ ʌ s k oʊ / KOS-see-US-koh) is a county in the U.S. state of Indiana.At the 2020 United States Census, its population was 80,240. [1] The county seat (and only incorporated city) is Warsaw. [2]
Originally named "Mount Ruska," Atwood was laid out as a village on September 29, 1857. It was an important trading point due to the Pittsburgh, Fort Wayne, and Chicago Railway passing through its boundaries.
Wayne Township is one of seventeen townships in Kosciusko County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, its population was 29,110 (up from 27,551 at 2010 [ 4 ] ) and it contained 12,127 housing units. Wayne Township was organized in 1836.
