Sean Daniel O'Malley [4] (born October 24, 1994) is an American professional mixed martial artist. He currently competes in the Bantamweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he is the former UFC Bantamweight Champion .
Seán Patrick O'Malley was born as Patrick O'Malley on June 29, 1944, in Lakewood, Ohio, the son of Theodore and Mary Louise (née Reidy) O'Malley. Both parents were of Irish descent. O'Malley, his sister, and his older brother grew up in the South Hills area south of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and in Reading, Pennsylvania.
